The Bozzuto Construction team recently joined project owner, Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH), designer,KGD Architecture, and local community members for a ribbon-cutting and grand opening celebration in honor of the new Columbia Hills affordable housing complex in Arlington, VA.
Located within an existing affordable community just under two miles from I-395, Bozzuto’s first EarthCraft Virginia Platinum community brings an additional 229 affordable housing units to the city of Arlington. In addition to two levels (95,000 square feet) of below-grade parking, Columbia Hills features a dramatic two-story lobby that provides access to the many onsite amenities, including a rooftop terrace and clubhouse, and an elevated courtyard with ample planting and seating areas for residents to enjoy.
Bozzuto completed construction of the new eight-story Columbia Hills high-rise early this year. “As always, it was a pleasure working alongside APAH and KGD Architecture on this project,” said construction Project Manager, Dan Blatzheim. “The team is honored to have been part of building the Columbia Hills community, which has such a positive impact on the people in Arlington.”Partner with Bozzuto Construction
