8787 Georgia Avenue | Silver Spring, Maryland
BDC and Stonebridge Carras have been collaborating to develop 8787 Georgia Ave on Montgomery County’s existing Park and Planning Office in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland. Once the county moves into their new office, which is currently under construction, the partnership will break ground on this unique project that includes two new residential buildings and 26,500 square feet of retail. Groundbreaking is anticipated in Q1 2021.
8787 Georgia will elevate the Georgia Avenue & Spring Street corner to serve as a new northern gateway to Downtown Silver Spring. A public pedestrian and bike path will run between the project’s two residential buildings leading directly downtown. A pedestrian bridge will connect the two residential buildings over this pathway. With 375 units and amenities that include a demonstration kitchen and large outdoor courtyards, the design strives to represent and embrace a diverse and creative community that values authenticity. The project will welcome residents in Q3 2023.
Allston Yards | Boston, Massachusetts
With the first of four buildings expected to break ground in Q2 2021 and deliver in Q3 2023, Allston Yards is in the heart of Allston-Brighton, a strikingly creative neighborhood in Boston, Massachusetts that features murals and other artistic elements. The project is encouraged to work with local artists and pay respect to the amazing artistic history of the neighborhood.
Allston Yards has proximity to popular Cambridge Street and Brighton Avenue and sits adjacent to the Boston Landing neighborhood, which features attractions such as the Celtics and Bruins sports facilities as well as restaurants, shopping, a hotel and residences. Inside, Allston Yards will feature 758 rental and 110 homeowner units, a 5,000 square foot dog park, 20,000 square feet of retail space and a 67,000 square feet of grocery space.
